Dear Friends and Family,
I just wanted to let you know that I’m ok and safe. I’m at a friends house and will not emerge for a while. Cell phone service is very spotty today because of the high winds and because I’m sure that we are overloading the towers. For now, just know that I’m ok and I love you all.
In case you don’t know what this message is about, we’ve had another round of awful events–a large scale shooting occured this morning. You can find news about it on msn or cnn.
As far as I know so far, everyone I know here is okay, but one of these incidents did take place very close to the building in which I work.
